The Monkeyail fastener , from the Anvil range, is forged from steel with a beeswax finish. The fastener is reversible (not handed) and can therefore be fitted to either the left or the right side of the window. Overall length is 112mm, handle length is 90mm, fixing plate size is 57mm x 20mm x 5mm, mortice plate size: 76mm x 19mm. It is suitable for use on windows that have a draft seal due to the mortice plate allowing the window to be pulled as tight to the frame as the seal allows. For windows without a central mullion the hook plate must be ordered separately.
Left and right handed, come with both mortice and latch fittings.
