We always have an impressive collection of antique drive gates and pedestrian gates. Most of our gates are 19th century wrought or cast iron examples, ranging from classic simple field gates to magnificent grand entrance gates with elaborate wrought iron scrollwork. Old pedestrian gates are always popular and the standard of workmanship is always high, compared with the flimsy welded or tubular modern equivalent.
Gates suitable for gardens range from simple wicket gates to magnificent Victorian or Georgian double gates. Occasionally we also get 19th Century Cast iron examples, which usually look best in urban settings. English Salvage also supply reclaimed stone and metal gate posts, pier caps and finials.
The railings we stock range from simple Georgian wrought iron park railing to intricate Victorian cast iron railings.
