Impressively huge pineapple finial in three pieces, hand-carved from golden sandstone. The pineapple has an acanthus leaf design to the lower half, and the socle has an interlacing band and egg and dart rim. Overall measurements are given below. The base measures 49.5 cm square x 7.5cm thick, and socle is 44cm diameter x 41cm high.
