Cast iron balustrade brackets with posts reclaimed from the now demolished Victorian Central Library, Ratcliff Place, Birmingham. As you can see from the photo taken by D. J. Norton, it is thought the balustrading ran the length of the main library room. The approximate overall size of a bracket and post together is below, each post is roughly 7.3cm square x 129.5cm high and each bracket roughly 151.3cm wide x 62.5cm high x 8cm deep. Surface rust to all.
