This very large salvaged slab of slate is from a Midland based saddle maker. The slate itself is quite uncommon to find in such a large rectangle. There are some scratches, chips and dinks especially to the edges and corners, commensurate with age and use. The slate slab is incredibly heavy, in excess of 500kg, and will require lifting quipment to move. A similar slab can be found here. Please note that the stone plinths are not included, sale is for slate slab only.
