This ornate reclaimed pine fire surround has an impressive level of detail, with a generous fluted frieze and an intricately carved urn in the centre. The jambs have an attractive drop carving and cartouches on the frieze above them. The fire surround has fixing hooks at the sides, and appears to be in sound condition with some scratches to the wood as is to be expected with a salvaged item. It is a good quality fire surround, originally from Hallidays of London. Overall dimensions are given below and the opening measures 110cm wide x 107cm high.
