Javanese Majapahit terracotta pig

Javanese Majapahit terracotta pig

Ref: 35128 (B5902)
Qty: 1

Reclaimed Javanese Majapahit terracotta pig, age unknown.  Pigs or boars were a symbol of wealth in Java dating back to the time of Majapahit Empire 14/15th Century when terracotta pig models were used to store coins, hence the derivation of piggy bank.  Some old repairs present and one ear is broken.  We would not advise this being outside all year round.
