You could categorise this section as the items that add real interest to the architectural or design environment. We have items as large as an entire stone frontage with an ornate archway from a demolished pub, designed by a famous early 20th Century architect. At the other end of the scale we have ever popular ornate cast iron 19th Century grilles. We really love decorative stone and carved wood, so we always buy it when we see it.
We usually have a good choice of antique oak and pine panelling and glazed screens, and other items suitable for decorating pubs, bars, clubs, shops and restaurants. We also supply theatrical and movie props. We are one of the few architectural salvage yards to have a comprehensive stock of reclaimed staircase and balustrades, from grand baroque to austere Georgian farmhouse examples. We usually have a choice of Victorian spiral staircases. We often reclaim cast iron pillars from railway stations and churches, these can provide a decorative solution to a structural job.
