Striking and unique, this reclaimed cast iron fireplace is reputedly modelled on the gothic architecture of Shrewsbury, and does bear a resemblance to the windows of Shrewsbury Abbey and perhaps references the ceiling of St Mary's Church with the quatrefoil design of the front bar. The turned front bars are substantial and the detail is beautiful. This is a unique find and is sure to be a talking point.
