Salvaged wooden painted fire surround and separate mirror and frame above. Baroque style ornate carving, with acanthus leaf details, foliate trellis above the mirror, scrolling detail to the jambes. Some separation to the wood of the fire surround. Flaking and chipping to the paint. Attractive foxing pattern to the mirror. Fire surround measures 111cm wide x 99cm high x 33cm deep externally and opening measures 77cm wide x 66cm high. Mirror frame measures 104cm wide x 150cm high x 7cm deep. An unusual and beautiful find.
