Unusual collection of original black and white portraits of 19th Century dignitaries. There are three identical portraits of each of these five dignitaries available, plus additional similar portraits available here. These photographs were produced by James Russel and Sons in the late 1880s. Similar examples by the same studio can be found in the National Portrait Gallery collection. A few scuffs to edges and signs of age to card surrounds. The portraits are approximately 24cm wide and 34cm high, including the mounting card.
