An attractive, heavy set of reclaimed wrought iron double gates. Unusual cast iron spindle-like uprights, rivetted / bolted side pieces and central scrolls. Original drop bolt present. The overall width given is for both gates including the bolted on hinge mounts to the sides - but excludes the remnants of the hinges.
One of the spindles has cracked through just below the base of the teardrop (left spindle on the right hand gate, viewed from the front) and may need attention. Paint flaking.
