These robust planters are cast in terracotta, which makes for an attractive textured finish with small pits and variations to the colour, and they have a dark, smokey patina. There is a double bead detail around the top with a simple hand-pinched decorative band. Label states "Frost Proof Garden Pottery" ... these are thick pots which have been fired at a high temperature (so please note we cannot give a specific guarantee with regards to frost proofing .. but nevertheless are confident in the product)!
