Salvaged cast iron agricultural/industrial weighing scales by W&T Avery, Birmingham. The iconic Avery name has been synonymous with weighing devices since the early C18th. This reclaimed scale has been cast with ornate detail and at some point has had the detail attractively highlighted with paint. The scale is on wheels and would make an attractive garden or interior feature in a home or business setting. It shows some wear but appears to be sound and in good condition overall.
