Rare and unusual American wooden cabin trunk with decorative ironwork banding and decoration. It is a lovely piece in its own right but opening the domed lid reveals numerous lidded compartments, an array of haberdashery items, decorative fabrics, rug making tools, patterns etc. There are some decorative prints some labelled Chas T Wilt, Trunks, Travelling Bags and Ladies' Satchels, Chicago.
