Imposing antique, period style, pale limestone fireplace surround, made in France. With a symmetrical, central shell design motif, surrounded by leaves and berries and inset geometric shapes carved into each side of the mantel and jambs.
The main dimensions stated below are the overall measurements of the fire surround, the internal measurements are 148.5cm wide x 105.5cm high x 52cm deep.
There are some fixing holes left from previous use, a few marks and small chips, some where the mantel / jamb join.
