Impressive and ornate double gates and arch with central cradle that would have once housed a lantern. Curled scrollwork with floral and foliate detailing throughout and to the pillars and gate finials. Measurements below are the maximum overall. The arch itself is 400cm maximum externally, 234cm wide from inside to inside of pillars, which are 33cm square at their bases. Height of the arch externally is 231cm, to the underside of the lantern cradle is 190cm high. The square bar gates measure 200cm wide overall x 178.5cm highest (plus 8cm pivots at base), 154.5cm to top rail. One scroll is broken and some bolts are missing.
